ROAD TRIP

So we left town Saturday morning and headed East.  We stopped off at Ihop in North Little Rock and ate a wonderful breakfast. I was told at this time to hand out the car sickness pills and I was banded from driving the rest of the day (fine by me).

This is why I hand out tummy pills.
This one couldn't care less about where she was because she is about to sleep all the way there.

We kept going east and made it all the way out of Arkansas. TO...

The MEMPHIS ZOO.

I've tried and tried to upload my pictures and they are not working. I will post those later.

We had a blast but had to come home. I will say that GPS' do not always take you on the correct path home. We were trying to go to eat and it took us to the wrong place. We then went 30 miles down to the next town to eat.

It was a great day to get away and enjoy the family. Might be a while before we do it again.

Getting out of dodge. Well maybe just a road trip.

Things have been crazy the past few weeks. This is a known fact that if you ask me to do something and I will. I have a issue with saying NO when someone needs something. I finished giving one shower and about to give another shower for my friends.

So with all that crazyness I'm needing some time to spend with just the family. Just the husband and kids. So tomorrow we are heading out and going somewhere. I asked the hubby if this would be ok with him and he wanted to know where we would be going. I told him we would get breakfast to go and just drive. We might end up in another state but I promise we will come back tomorrow night so we can be at church Sunday.

I'll let you know Monday where we end up.

Say a prayer.

MINE!!!

Well after my post yesterday I had many comments from friends and family. So I wanted everyone to know that I'm NOT PREGNANT.

I really didn't realize how many people read my blog. Trust me I will let you know if we are pregnant in the future. But don't hold your breath.

Guess What???

This isn't mine. PROMISE. If it was me, you would see a pic of me underneath passed out. My best friend, Ms. Porter, told everyone today (that means I can tell too) that she is pregnant. She is 10 weeks and I'm so excited!!! If you know her tell her congrats!!!

Changing ways

Well it took 2 hours to change everything on my background. I hope it gets easier next time. It might have helped if I didn't stop every 5 minutes to grade a few tests. I will have to say that I like the change.

Hope you had a great Valentines day and did something nice for your love.

Till next time.

Long time no blogging

Well it has been a crazy week. To start off Monday-Wednesday there was NO school and I couldn't figure out how to blog on my new phone. We had alot of fun and even made some snow people.
This is Ashton's creation. He is an alien dressed like a mexican. Name "Taco"

This is Kylie's. Due to the fact that she was scared of the snow person Ashton named her "Ashley".

Well it has been a wonderful day and one of those do not care what happens cause I'm blessed. I got a delivery at school from my hubby.
The card read, "Have a good Friday" How sweet.

Now on to the way I feel today. Yep it is a do not care day; I felt a student messing with my hair and this is what happened.

Not sure about their style but I'll stick to doing my own hair.
Just note: I cooked and fed the whole faculity at school today. I'm wooped.

TGIF

I'm so thankful it is Friday. This has been a rough week and now that it is coming to an end I'm feeling alot better. After school I will go spend my paycheck on groceries and then rent a movie from the famous Red Box. When I get home I will cook dinner and then hopefully watch a movie with my loves. Tomorrow I hope to sleep in to at least 7am then make breakfast and start working on dinner. If I'm lucky we will all take naps and then fold the massave load of laundry that seems to build day by day. I'm praying for a calm relaxing weekend.

There are many things in life that I deserve but blessed that God gave me what I have.

Hope you have a great weekend.

Exfoliation station

Well our precious toddler watches every thing we do from putting our shoes on to drinking out of a big cup to washing our faces. I made a great dinner last night that consisted of Italian baked chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli, and yeast rolls. While we were eating I noticed Kylie making faces at the pot of potatoes on the table. She would lean over say hi and wave at the pot. This went on for about 10 minutes then it got interesting. I turned away for a second and when I looked back this is what I saw.

A closer look.

I promise I do not wash my face with mashed potatoes. By the way her skin looked great this morning. Maybe I could brand a mashed potato scrub???

Birthday bash

OK I guess after you turn 18 your birthdays don't mean that much, except that you are closer to that milestone. BUT in my family it means SUPPER TIME!!! No matter who's birthday it is we make the meal of their choice and share it with the family. Add in some cake (homemade of course) and you have a birthday.

Last night we celebrated my Brother in law's 34th birthday (in 7 years I will be that old) at my parents house. His b-day was actually last Wednesday but due to the winter weather we delayed the party.

Birthday Boy Michael.

Nana and Kylie watching Michael blow out the candles.

Ashton and Shelley fight over the lone candle.

Pawpall and Patrick enjoying some cake.

Kylie cheeseburgering for the camera.

Groundhog's Day

Punxsutawney Phil, came out of his tree stump in western Pennsylvania today to see his shadow, that means winter will last another six weeks. Bring on more snow!!!

Girls just want to have fun.

Trish and I starting our sledding experience.

If you can see the little speck that is us after Patrick flung us off the sled.

We are actually walking today.
